01
One spot, lip to leg
15 × 15 mm covers the lip and the leg without a handpiece swap between zones.
02
Next to AlphaLux
GenLux is the compact console. AlphaLux is the tall cart with several spot geometries. A call can place both in the same practice.
03
The energy line
The platform prints a 3–4× energy figure against a traditional single-wavelength diode. That is the printed figure, not an American Spa Lasers study. Individual results vary.
04
Current generation versus earlier systems
Compact single-wavelength systems of previous years limited throughput and cooling. GenLux is the current compact triple-wave platform with sapphire contact cooling and continuous-duty design. It supports higher daily volume without a large cart.
The machine
CURRENT GENERATION
Earlier systems, and this one.
Technology in this category moves quickly. Earlier platforms were typically single-wavelength, lower-power, and limited in cooling and spot size. Sessions took longer, the suitable client range was narrower, and the console was worth little after a few years.
GenLux is supplied as a current-generation platform under the American Spa Lasers label. Where the modality calls for it: more than one wavelength or depth, cooling in the handpiece, and a design meant for a full day of appointments. FDA clearance and TGA inclusion where that platform requires them. Confirmed on the call, not assumed from a sheet.
Older or entry-level systems are not on this list. The practical difference for an owner is a shorter appointment, a broader menu, and a machine you can still trade.
40%
RESIDUAL VALUE
A machine should not become a net loss.
Like a premium vehicle, professional equipment should still be worth something when the next platform arrives. On GenLux, in good condition, purchased from American Spa Lasers, we guarantee a minimum of 40% of the original price for up to five years.
Trade in. Confirm condition on a call. You stay in front of the category instead of carrying a console the room has outgrown.
Questions owners ask
How is GenLux different from AlphaLux?
GenLux is the compact console with one 15 × 15 mm triple-wave handle. AlphaLux is the tall cart with several spot geometries.
What does the call cover?
Wavelengths, cooling, duty cycle, and which room it belongs in. It is not a clinic demo.
Is the 3–4× energy line a study?
No. It is the figure printed with the platform. Individual results vary.
Who may operate it?
Trained operators only. Class 4 laser. Wavelength-rated eyewear and the instructions for use are required.
Request a technology discussion.
For trained clinicians. Not a treatment offer to the public. Specifications are not a revenue forecast and not a result guarantee.
